The Prince George’sCounty Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating asexual assault that occurred at the Upper Marlboro Courthouse.
On Tuesday, June 19 atapproximately 2:00pm, detectives responded to the Department of Corrections fora report of a sexual assault that occurred at the courthouse. Detectivesmet with the victim, a 34-year old black female inmate who stated that she hadbeen sexually assaulted by a deputy sheriff while awaiting trial at thecourthouse.
Detectives interviewed DeputySheriff Lamar McIntyre and he admitted his involvement in this incident. McIntyre has been charged with 2nd Degree Rape.
