So, I unfriended someone on FB today. The thing is this was some childhood "friend" that...when I think about it...we weren't actually friends. It turns out we never really knew each other at all. That became abundantly clear today. And not in that dramatic "I don't know who you are anymore!" Soap Opera way of describing how people change, I mean we never got to know each other. Period.
We met because of a joke and THAT was the only basis of our "friendship".
So, while I feel sorta sad, it's more the embarrassment of realizing how superficial this was. I made up in my head who I thought this person was. Today was a wake up call.
Stupid wake up calls.
